“Coffee with Lloyd” Webinar: Long-Term Investing: Investing Your Time & Resources in Light of Eternity

January 24, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Consider this…

It’s 1865: The Civil War is ending and all of your wealth is in confederate currency. Before long, everything you’ve worked to earn will be worth nothing. Unless you can figure out a way to exchange your currency for something with lasting value.

The same is still true for us today. Ultimately, what we have now has short term value unless we figure out how to reinvest it for the long term.

At age 58, it is now clearer now than ever to me that thinking about a 30-year return on investment is not actually long-term investing. From my perspective, the last thirty years went by very fast and older, wiser people in their eighties tell me that the next thirty years will go by even faster.

Long-term investing is about deploying our influence and affluence in a way that will yield the maximum benefit for the rest of our lives and beyond. As a long-term investor, part of my due diligence then is to study the long-term yields of the things I invest in.

In this 30-minute webinar, Halftime Alum, Doug Piper, and I will explore how we can study heaven as diligently as any investment we have ever made.

For those who can stay on, there will be an interactive Q&A for an additional 15-30 minutes.
