Born and raised in Newport News, Virginia (ship building capital of the world)
Graduated from Christopher Newport University with a BS in Business Administration/Accounting
Went straight to Banking right out of school and after many mergers, now known as Bank of America. Began as a financial and information systems auditor. After obtaining my CPA certification, I progressed into Corporate Treasury to build information systems. I spent the majority of my career building data management and risk management environments. Departed BAC is December 2016. Now working on my next chapter.
Moved to Charlotte in 1991 and met my wife and soulmate (Emily) at the Carolina Panthers announcement event in 1993. Married in 1995 and have two wonderful daughters in Davidson (Hannah – 18, Allie – 15)
