Halftime Carolinas Alumni & Friends Annual Luncheon

You are invited to join the Halftime Carolinas Team, Alumni & Friends for our annual luncheon.  Meet others who share your desire for their second half to be filled with meaning, joy and impact. Hear from Carolina alumni about their halftime journeys…

     Mark Howard owns a successful pre-fab concrete company in Charlotte.  Mark came to know Jesus through Joe Gibbs. He and Joe have partnered to  bring Joe’s “Game Plan for Life” program into prisons in North Carolina. Today Mark blends his time between his fast-growing company and an innovative program providing seminary training to people in prison for life – equipping pastors inside our prisons to help transform the lives of inmates. His dream is that those who leave prison will stay out and be healthy enough to lead meaningful, joy-filled lives.

  Bob and Susan Weber   Bob Weber is a sought-after data and IT consultant in Charlotte, NC whose clients have included Bristol-Myers Squibb, Hitachi, Home Depot, and BMW. A Halftime journey in 2015 connected him with JAARS, the logistics and IT support organization for Wycliffe Bible Translators. Today, Bob has created the margin in his life and business to, in an ongoing relationship with JAARS, help them more effectively manage and leverage their resources to carry out their mission of bringing God’s word to the unreached people groups of the world and, with his wife, Susan, they have led a joint in-kind gift project at JAARS and a local community soccer outreach program for 3 to 5 year olds.

You and your spouse are welcome to attend.  And, if you have a friend or colleague who is in his or her “halftime” and would be encouraged and inspired by joining us, feel free to extend this invitation to them as well. Or, perhaps reserve a table for eight and bring a group of friends and colleagues.

While we hope to see you there, if you register early and should find that you just can’t make it, let us know by Friday, April 21st and we’ll be glad to refund the full price of your registration.  Or, if you can’t come but you believe that what Halftime does is valuable and want to leave the registration fee as a donation to Halftime Carolinas, we’d be grateful.
