Mark Linsz

Mark spent more than two decades at Bank of America, most notably steering the company safely as Corporate Treasurer for four years during the worst of the financial crisis. As Corporate Treasurer, Mark managed the bank’s $2T balance sheet and raised over $50B of capital while ensuring funding and liquidity of all the bank’s entities. Throughout his career, Mark has worked internationally and led global teams in Chicago, New York, Charlotte, London, and Hong Kong.

Mark launched a second career as Co-Founder of My Next Season. He and Co-Founder Dr. Leslie Braksick joined forces with the objective of helping companies and individuals with important transitions on both ends of the career continuum—young professionals on one end and retiring executives on the other—and ensuring they happen well.

Mark devotes time and energy to making a difference in new and creative ways. He has served on the board of directors for Corporate Capital Trust II, BlackRock, and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and he currently serves on CNL Strategic Capital. His not-for-profit board experience includes serving on the board of Opportunity International for six years. He currently serves on the board of directors for African Bible Colleges and LifeNet International, a company that seeks to improve healthcare in Africa. Mark is also a founding board member of Freedom Communities, an organization working to revive the west side of Charlotte by focusing on education, housing, employment, and community wellness.

Mark participated in the Halftime Roundtable in 2014 and joined the Halftime Carolinas Board in 2020.  He has been married to his wife, Becky, for over 25 years and is the father of Ashley, Anna, and Ellie. He and his family reside in Charlotte, NC.
